Day full of Slams and Squirrels as both NLDS' go to game 5

Last night started at 6 P.M. ET for baseball fans with the Phillies looking to knock-out the cards 3-1. The Cardinals' David Freese hit a two run double, scoring Berkman and Holliday. That put the Cards up 3-2 and Freese would later add a two-run shot, totalling in 4 RBI's for the night. The Cardinals' Bullpen would hold on for the 5-3 win and we will be heading back to Phillie for game 5. Sometime during the fifth inning, a squirrel which had been there both yesterday and today, darted across the plate as Oswalt delivered a pitch to Schumaker. The pitch was called a ball, so Oswalt and Charlie Manuel came out to argue, a) that it was a strike, and b) that the Squirrel was a distraction. That clip is available through this link.

Later on, at 9:30, The Brewers started the first inning with a early 1-0 lead. That did not deter the the D'Backs as their Ryan Roberts belted a grand slam, (the DBack's have hit one in each of their last 4 home games,) making the score 4-1. That was immediately followed by a solo shot, making it 5-1. Arizona would hold on for a 10-6 lead.

Tonight at 8, is game 5 of Yanks Vs. Tigers. Tommorow will be the NLDS game 5's which promise to be interesting. Remember, if you miss a game, just check in to 711Sports.
